Nikon UK is happy to announce that it is going to be presenting at the years’s long awaited The Device Show Live. The show is the UK’s quickest growing and most fun electronics show, held at the Birmingham NEC from 7th-11th Apr.

Building on the successfulness of last year’s show, which brought the favored channel 5 program live to consumers’ fingertips ; visitors will get the opportunity to see, try and buy all the latest gizmos and gadgets that guarantee to be hot stories in 2010.

Nikon will be taking to the stage as an element of The Gizmo Show Photographic Masterclass Theatre, demonstrating how its latest camera technology is utilized for making electrifying computer effects in film production.

Visitors to the show will see how these methods may also be used at home to enhance their own photography. Working in association with Timeslice Films, the computer effects company behind digital SLR camera array CGI effects such as ‘freeze time’ and ‘bullet time’ made favored in films like Wing Chief , The Matrix and the approaching Street Dance 3D, as well as program indents for the preferred dance show so you believe You Can Dance, Nikon will form a live demonstration on stage employing a rig of multiple cameras set up on Stop Frame Animation to capture a point from around a subject. Group Selling Executive Jeremy Gilbert comments : “The Gizmo Show Live is the ultimate platform for Nikon to interact with a device loving audience that is concerned to have a good time and become creative with their photography, which is at the heart of our new marketing program ; I’m NIKON.” Jon, Suzi, Ortis and Jason ; presenters from Channel Five’s, The Gizmo Show, are returning to present this year’s show at the Birmingham NEC. Following the successfulness of the show’s debut in 2009, with all 30,000 tickets selling out months ahead, an additional preview afternoon has been added on the 7th Apr.

This years’ Contraption Show Live promises to be much larger and better with over 154 exhibitors, how-to theatres and live events offering devices galore for all visitors.
